Forest Distillery

A unique distillery based in a 17th Century stone barn set in the Macclesfield Forest within the Peak District National Park producing Forest Gin and Forest Whisky.

Surrounded by nature, and with its own ancient spring producing a constant supply of fresh water, the Forest Distillery is 1,200 feet above sea level, daily distilling spirits of the very purest quality.

Gin Tours- 1.5 - 2 hours

Gin tours include a tasting experience of the gins produced and a talk through the remarkable rise, fall, and rise again of the spirit before learning the history of the distillery and how the team creates their award winning gin.

This includes an introduction to the botanicals and the process used to distill. Guests will also receive instructionof how to pour the perfect serve.

Please note that there are is no car parking on site, all vehicles are to be left on the lane by the gate. Coaches and cars may park in the pub across the road where customers could also dine if required.

The pub serves authentic British dishes which complement gin tasting at the distillery. Due to its remote location, the distillery reserves the right to cancel the event at short notice in the event of poor weather conditions (snow).
