Woodclose Park

Woodclose Park is a quiet and serene nine-acre holiday home, glamping, and touring park in Kirkby Lonsdale.  It is located within the beautiful Lune Valley in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is just a short distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Lake District National Park.

If you wish to explore the national parks, Woodclose is the perfect base with many walking and cycling routes on the doorstep.  Just a short walk from the park entrance is the spectacular River Lune and the three ribbed medieval arches of Devil’s Bridge, linked to legend in local tales.  The picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is within half a mile and has a selection of award-winning tearooms, restaurants, and pubs.

There is a selection of glamping accommodation available with both dog-friendly and pet-free options.  Glamping pods have room for up to two adults and three children, and some have an en-suite toilet and/or en-suite shower room.  Each pod has an outdoor picnic bench and space for a BBQ, with fire pits available for hire upon arrival.  There is also a private family bathroom.

Woodclose Park’s contemporary Hive Cabins are perfect for those seeking to get back to nature without relinquishing any of the comforts of home.  Enjoy stylish woodland-themed interiors, spacious private decking areas, and even a boot wash, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and those wishing to bring their four-legged best friend on holiday.  Each self-catering Hive Cabin sleeps four and has two double sofa beds, a shower room and toilet, a dining area, and a kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric hob and microwave.

The dog-friendly Treetops Apartment is ideal for couples or families looking to explore Kirkby Lonsdale and beyond.  This one-bedroom self-catering apartment is available for three, four, or seven night stays.  The apartment has a large open plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom.  There is a sofa bed in the lounge area.  To the exterior is a private patio area and car parking space.
