Harris Museum

The Harris Museum and Art Gallery has temporarily closed for the Harris Your Place project.

The Harris library and the Harris shop have temporarily moved to the Guild Hall, Preston as refurbishment work is carried out.

You can return books, find your favourite reads, and book computer sessions in the I.T Room.

Known affectionately as The Harris, this attraction is loved for its beautiful spaces, fun experiences and intriguing stories. Stories that shine a light on the people who have settled, lived and worked in Lancashire and Preston, locally and from around the world. The Harris Your Place project will bring the Harris into the 21st century whilst preserving its unique history.
